At the time of ripping, no DVD or Bluray souce is known to exist. Project notes: A short OVA series based on the short manga by Kaoru Shintani. He’s probably most famous for Area 88, though this is nothing like that. This is about a high school student who’s sick of everyday routine, so he hops on his motorcycle and just goes, in an ettmpt to make the clock of life turn left for once. He has adventures. No explosions, Shintani saved those for Desert Rose, which he wrote after this. There’s some confusion online about the number of episodes in this series. ANN lists four, anidb lists two. I think the confusion might be from the back of the LD jacket, which names the disk chapters, which implies they are seperate episodes. But there are only two sets of opening and credits, and no titlecards, so its only two episodes. The video quality isn’t the best, with the second episode being the worse of the two. The second episode had some significant jitter, and I think maybe the black is a bit too intense or something. The first episode had some occasional jitter, but I didn’t feel it was worth correcting for. Both episodes suffer from rough cuts. Unfiltered high bitrate DVD conversion included for archival purposes.
